| On May 6, 2006 the second ever Trailblazer Program in CT. Trailblazers is a national program designed by the US Sportsmen's Alliance. The program is designed to provide children and their parents with an introduction to outdoor sports along with the importance of conservation through the mentoring of expert instructors. The events included archery, fishing, shooting, a demonstration of traditional firearms, traditional cooking, a demonstration of fox hounds and the CT DEP Turn In Poacher Informatinal Trailer. On behalf of US Sportsmen's Alliance, Bob Clark (CT Trailblazer Event Coordinator) and all of the many volunteers and sponsors who made this event possible, we would like to thank all of the children who participated in hopes that some of these activities play an important role in your life for years to come.
