|The Hunt To Feed Program Deer Processing Mandatory Guidelines are as follows:
A: Butchers must be state certified.
B: All game to be processed must be legally tagged from the hunter.
C: Participating hunters MUST immediately fill out all information as
required in the provided log book.
D: Butchers must process the venison into ground venison only.
E: Packages must be individually wrapped in 5 pound maximum bags.
F: Packages must be labeled with the provided HTF approved label.
G: Butchers must contact the CT Food Bank at (203) 469-5000 when at
least 100 pounds are ready for pick up!
H: Packages must be in suitable cardboard box for transport or inform the
CT Food Bank to bring their own boxes.
